I’ve been playing Cello for about 10 years, now. Just discovered this badge thing.  I was originally a violinist, but there was a musician’s fair at my junior high and I fell in love as soon as I saw the thing. It fit my hands just right, felt great to sit with, and made the most beautiful sounds ever.  Shortly after, I was the only cellist in my school’s orchestra… and then the only one in my high school class.  I joined a youth symphony and played on stage several times, and even did some rock covers at my school with a friend. Still play it some times, and even had a master class with Jean Michel a few years back.  This instrument is closest to the human voice both harmonically and in tone-range.
